The 2026 International Zurich Seminar on Information and Communication will be held at the Hotel Zürichberg in Zurich, Switzerland, from Wednesday, February 25, through Friday, February 27, 2026.

High-quality original contributions of both applied and theoretical nature in the following areas are solicited:

Information Theory

Network Information Theory and Coding
Information Theory and Combinatorics
Information Theory and Statistics

Detection and Estimation
Data Storage

Optical Communication
Wireless Communication

Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence contributions that are only weakly related to the above topics are discouraged.

Invited speakers will account for roughly half the talks. In order to afford the opportunity to learn from and communicate with leading experts in areas beyond one's own specialty, no parallel sessions are anticipated. All papers should be presented with a wide audience in mind.

Papers will be reviewed on the basis of a manuscript (of at most half a dozen double-column A4-pages) of sufficient detail to permit reasonable evaluation. Authors of accepted papers will be asked to produce a manuscript of the above format that will be published in the proceedings. Authors will be allowed twenty minutes for presentation.

The deadline for submission is September 14, 2025.
