About Restaurants in Zurich

Zurich has a very large number of restaurants, of which we mention a few that might be of particular interest to conference attendees. The selection is entirely subjective.

Reservation is strongly recommended for most restaurants.

Tipping is not mandatory and practice varies wildly. Some people never give anything. I think it is nice to give a tip on the order of 5% (and rather more in top restaurants) if your are happy.

Most good restaurants offer a wide-sense European cuisine. Ethnic food is best enjoyed elsewhere.
